Tickets are $30.  Advance purchase only.

When should I arrive?

We begin boarding the bus at 7:45 p.m., and we are scheduled to leave at 8:00 p.m. sharp. We mean it! Once the bus leaves, we are unable to turn around and pick you up and your ticket will not be refunded.

What should I wear?

Bring some layers. The top of the bus is open, so it’s like riding around the city at night in a convertible. The temperature will probably drop as the evening progresses. To ensure a comfortable experience, we recommend you prepare for a temperature about 10 degrees cooler than what the thermometer reads.

What if it rains?

If it looks like rain, the event will be held on the rain date listed on the event page, at 8:00 PM with boarding beginning at 7:45. A message will be posted on our website by 4:00 PM on the day of the event, and ticket holders will be notified via text and email if the event will be happening on the rain date.

What if it rains on the rain date?

If it also rains on the rain date, a message will be posted on the website by 4:00 PM of that day and texts and emails sent to ticket holders with regard to what actions will be taken ( further rescheduling or cancellation/ticket refunds.)

If I can’t attend the event, can I get a refund?

No refunds will be given, but we are happy to let another person of your choice take your spot. Please just contact us at ddms@bowerbird.org by no later than 5:30pm day-of-show with any name change(s) for our will-call list.

Can I walk up and buy a ticket?

No. We are selling advance tickets only. Because there aren’t many seats on the bus, these events will sell out rather quickly!

May I bring beverages and snacks on the bus?

Yes, this event is BYO beverages and snacks. For your safety, we ask that you bring beverages in plastic containers or cans only. NO GLASS

Where is the restroom?

There is no restroom on the bus. The event is two hours without any stops. Plan ahead!

How accessible is the bus?

Our bus “kneels” and has a wheelchair access ramp for the 1st floor. The upper deck is accessible only by a set of approximately 10 steps. If you would like to attend any of our events and are unable to make it to the upper deck, please get in touch and we can sell you a half price ticket for the lower deck (which features PA speakers, so you can at least HEAR the performers.) If you have any further questions about accessibility, just get in touch.

Can I bring my kid(s)?

No. The event is all ages but because of the nature of these events, with the necessity of sitting still and staying quiet during the performance, the Double Decker Music Series is NOT recommended for young children.

If you have additional questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to contact us at ddms@bowerbird.org.
